V-Flyer

Hi,
I am flying out of Manchester on the vs075 on Thursday and we are on the new(ish) a330 with the new entertainment systems (well new for me since we had the old system before) and i noticed that you can send sms messages?

Can anyone tell me a little more about the function, costs and limitations?

The IFE on the A330 isn't V-Port, it is the new Jam system - see details here - the-toolbox/inflight-entertainment

For a thread showing a video of the systems see here.

I haven't used it, so can't comment on the costs, but i ams ure someone will be along to help soon.

Thanks Nick, yes sorry i got muddled up, but i was told jam and v:port are very similar.
