Very interesting, thank you for posting Bazz.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the current VX IFE and this can only be viewed as VX cementing their position as leaders in the US Domestic market.

Rather than upgrade their IFE, I'd like to see more routes introduced! (You only need to visit the VX Facebook page to see that many others want the same!)

Amazing, and as Cal says, its great already. A clear lesson to VS, if you want to keep ahead of the pack you need to keep innovating.

On a related note and might be useful to other V-Flyers, when I was at SFO yesterday waiting for my VX flight, I saw a Google chrome zone, but did not bother to check it out.

I should have, as they demo the Google chromebook (laptop thingy) to you then let you take it on board to try out - with free WiFI - and you hand it back to them when you land. I would have just enjoyed the free WiFi :)

Its available until the end of September at SFO, Dallas, Chicago and Boston. Details here

I'm on a Continental flight tomorrow, so I expect I'll be lucky to get a box of crayons and some drawing paper for my IFE :D
