Hi
I have done this route in PE often...be aware that row 31 is adjacent to bulkhead seats which could be used for bassinettes (maybe a noisy infant and accompanying toddler?), and close to the galley area, although you will probably get the first of the meal/drinks runs.
However when I have used rows 31 and 32, it has been an altogether quieter and pleasant experience....away from the hustle/bustle of the galley area.
Don't get lulled into paying any hard earned cash for the exit row seats (row 28) as, whilst they have plenty of leg room I think that they have a narrower seat width.
Just my 2 Rands worth...enjoy your trip.
Paul

Hi Paul thanks for the info on row 28

I guess it's the luck of the draw .. on A noisy infant and accompanying toddler never had that problem in UC ..
is it worth going back a couple of rows? .. I did look at upstairs but no seats yet ..
Regards
Mike

There are no PE seats upstairs on an LHR 747 - it is a mix of UC and Y.

Rows 32 thru 35 are good.
Avoid the back 2 rows as they are close to the loos
