This one will charge your phone if you're on a flight with in seat power via an empower socket

This one is for use on the new A330's in PE to charge and watch your iphone's content on the IFE screen

What class are you travelling in?

The Gatwick based planes that'll operate this flight only have in seat power in Upper Class, not in Premium or Economy at the moment (they're being refitted from next year however and will get in seat power then!)

There's no power in PE on the LGW 747's. I would suggest treating yourself to a Powermonkey for travelling - it will charge your phone on the go. It's one of the best things I have bought in recent years.

I recently used my I Phone from LGW to MCO (after of course turning on the "Flight Safe" mode) and this survived the almost 9 hour flight for listening to I Tunes
