Connecting Flights from Regional Airports

Hi,

Can you add connecting flights after you have booked your Virgin Flight? I've booked from LHR to JFK but haven't got any flights down from Glasgow or Edinburgh yet. Two of my flights were redeemed with miles and 2 were paid, if that makes any difference. Altenatively I guess I'll just need to book them independently, and hope the Virgin flights are roughly on time (mind you I'm planning on having 4 hours each side so fingers crossed)

No, sorry but you can't. In the past you were able to do so which was a help if you wanted to through-check your bags but now you have to book all the flights on the one ticket via the VS call centre or a third party site such as Expedia. I always book my connecting flights independently of VS as it's cheaper but I make sure I pad the connecting time. 4 hours should be OK. I wouldn't do less than 3 hours
