Hi,

According to my booking the VS19 on November 1st has changed to the A340-600.
Our seats 14 and 15 A on the 747 were fine .
Virgin have given us 14&15A on the airbus, which don't look very good to me.....but what do l know!
You will all know the location, so no need to elaborate on that.
But.....l would really be grateful for your thoughts and indeed advice please.
There is still some choice if l want to change them........7A&D or 10A&G look a bit better, but would we be facing each other in these.....

Help Please ii)

Stick with 14 and 15A - they are great seats - much better than sitting opposite each other in those other seats that you mentioned. You will be facing a wall which will make the area seem so much more peaceful and quiet. y)

Hi classlass

14&15A are pretty good, fairly private with the dividing wall in front of you for privacy. The only downside (and its not too bad) is that you are close to the bar - which some may cite as a benefit - and close to the loos, so there may be a bit of passing traffic.

If you have complete freedom of choice, the concensus for a couple is any adjacent 2 of 8/9/10/11A or a bit quieter on the other side in 4/5/6/7K.

Your suggestion of 10A & G would be great if you and your travelling companion have had a massive argument in the clubhouse. They are effectively on opposite sides of the aircraft - one accessed by the left aisle, one by the right :D :D

Don't give up 14/15A until you are sure there are others.

Thank you very much. I haven't changed anything so will leave it at what we have got.
At least we won't have far to stagger back from the bar ;)

Thanks again.

Just before a recent flight I noticed that the equipment had changed, the day before, from a 747 to an A346, and the same thing happened to me -- my seat in the Boeing (17A -- great!) was retained in the new seating plan for the Airbus (17A -- awful!). Must be a quirk of the seating software.

Anyhow, 14A & 15A are fine. I've sat in one of them and wasn't disturbed by the bar. You are certainly closer to your partner than if they are across the aisle.
