Yes she is an LHR config 744 - I snapped her outside the LHR CH a few weeks ago and flew back with her JFK-LHR.

It was also operated by a 600 yesterday. I suspect it was because a 747 was tied up with ferrying the NFL team back to Tampa.

It's not uncommon for a LHR aircraft to do the BGI run as that is one route where they can fill UC with relative ease in high season.

Posted: 24 Oct 2011, 23:42The VS45/46 seems to change to an A340-600 often these days. Usually it's just a couple of days a week, the rest of the time a 744, not not recently.
