V-Flyer

Hey all

in light of the email sent out by VS earlier this week about the upgrades to the fleet, I was just wondering if anyone is aware on when the 747 fleet from LGW to MCO is due to be updated? Any chance we'll get upgrade with v.port on this route by the end of the year?!?

The LGW fleet are starting their upgrades next May and should be all compete by October. They will have the new JAM IFE installed, which is the touchscreen system on the new A330 a/c and a lot better than V-Port.

The LGW/MAN 747's won't be getting refitted this year. It's all due to be completed by Oct next year.

When they are completed, none will be getting V-Port but JAM instead just as the A330's have.
