VS Miles when travelling with Singapore Airlines

Good morning,

I am flying to New Zealand with Singapore Airlines next week and wanted to be sure that I would get my VS miles credited to my account. I have entered my Flying Club membership number against my booking. Am I right in thinking that even though I am not flying VS I will still receive 100% of the miles travelled please?

Thanks

Also, referring to the VS website, you should check the fare booking class of your ticket to make sure that you have a booking class that's eligible for VS FC miles credit on an SQ flight.

Also if you have multi sectors on the same ticket all sectors need to be qualifying class to get the miles. If one sector isn't qualifying then the whole journey doesn't qualify.

I learnt the hard way :) I went LHR-SIN-KUL-SIN-BKK-SIN-LHR the SIN-BKK sector was in N class all the rest were in a qualifying class and i got no miles, a lot to lose v(
