Schedule shows 346 - but the toolbox shows 56% in 744 - the seat selector is showing 346.... ?|

Just means that over a period of time (not sure the period the stats cover) that just over 1/2 of flights are operated by a 747 and for just under 1/2 the time a 346 does the route.

I'd go with what is says in 'manage your bookings' as being the plane that operates your flight as that is what is currently scheduled.

Thanks - the schedule shows 346 throughout - but today its a 744.....guess I'd better keep a weather eye out - I assume they do this to match loads....but my pre-assigned 346 seat does not exist on a 744!

yes they do it to match loads and on some routes 3/7 days might be in an airbus with 4/7 on a 747 again depending on demand and that can chnage during the year as well.

On other routes it might be that say 6/12 months might be a 747 etc

Given the 744 has a much bigger Economy capacity, anyone know what the likely relative loads on the Miami run immediately pre-Xmas are likely to be? If a 744, am I better trying downstairs or up? (I know the builder of the 747 thought the 4th seat from the nose was the quietest - but then I spent a decade upstairs in the exit row seat on SQ...)
