Reward booking and paid booking on same ticket

I hope this isn't a silly question. ?| Can you book a reward flight and a paid flight on the same ticket or will they be two separate tickets?

I believe it will be 2 separate ticket refs.
You can ask VS to link the 2, but in my experience that has absolutely no effect.

We have always had it booked as two tickets when done a booking like this.

As Spiceke states, linking them seems to have no effect either, no-one actually realises that you're travelling together. Just keep an eye out for unexpected seat changes!

Thank you for the replies. Seems a funny thing that so easily could be rectified but I guess they are two separate parts of the company so to speak.
