VIRGIN SALE IN JANUARY???????

Hello all
Waiting to book a flight to MCO for late February 2012. I seem to remember Virgin having a sale in Jan this year. Anyone out there know whether they will be having a sale in Jan next year???

They generally do have a sale after Christmas, but the routes and dates always vary.
My guess for 2012 is that there will be very few bargains to MCO around any school holiday times - including Feb half term.
There is a bit of a sporting event going off in London in the summer. Firstly this means that a LOT of people will be wanting to get into and out of the country around that time.
Also, a lot of workers who have school age children will not be able to take any holidays around July / August / September, so will be looking to take holidays at other times of the year.

Considering that the BA sale starts on the 22nd Dec, I think we can be pretty certain when the VS one will start.

Must admit that I'm waiting to see what happens with DXB fares - picked up some cheap Ys for £369 in the sale last year for the may half term period - been looking for the same time in 2012 but nothing below about £550 to date (which I might take if they were Ls and therefore upgradeable, but no such luck)

Check out their advent calendar on their site. Change the date on your PC to the 22nd and look at the offer.
