Virgin phone call

Hi

Just wanting some reassurance please. We are booked to go to orlando on Sunday on the VS075, we have booked with airmiles that was given to us via a friend through their flying club accounts.

Today my friend received a phone call from virgin and they wanted to speak to me. I rang them back but my friend did not take a name and when I spoke to someone at virgin, everything seems to be fine with our booking.

Has anyone had a phone call like this prior to a flight and is it anything to worry about.

Thanks in advance

Sharon

I often get a call prior to my flight, asking if I would like to pay for an upgrade or extra legroom seats

Thanks for a quick reply, that was my first thought but we are flying premium economy on the new A330, I wish we could fly upper but these flights only have economy and premium economy

We also got a call from VS last year a few days before our flight to see if we wanted to pay for upgrade.

We declined luckly as there was plenty of seats to spread out on ;-)

Sharon, just checked your outbound flight on EF (which is by no means certain!) but Y is very very busy (only a handful of seats left) so if you are in Y the call is likely to offer an upgrade price to PE which is less busy.

Hope that helps.
