Points upgrades on partner airlines?

Just a quickie - can FC points be used for cabin upgrades on partner airlines?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe I have ever read of a member of this site being able to spend FC miles with a 'VS partner' carrier.

Oh! I interpreted the information on the flying club website to mean that miles could be spent on reward flights with partner airlines (with a couple of exceptions). I just wondered if this partnership extended to upgrades as well.

Yes you can spend points on reward flights not upgrades.

Sorry, what I meant by my post was that although the facility is there to use VS FC miles with partner airlines, I have never heard of anyone on here having any success with actually doing so.
