Back from Barbados

Hi Folks,

A wonderful 10 days at the Turtle Beach resort in Barbados, return flights with VS, a very kind CH invite from a V-Flyer….and more.

A tale of a Y and W leg which is very much a surprising “game of two halves” – watch out for the TRs.

A titbit about the new icecream carriers, a CC view of new Y meal service etc.

All to come!

Anyway, just thought I’d drop in and say “hi” plus happy new year to all, and a particular thankyou to Buns with whom I exchanged texts, but never met as the CH invite plus the timings of our flightsconspired against each other.

Now back to rainy, cold Britain (yes, perhaps not as cold as it could be), but feels cold after 10 days in the mid-80s (old money), and also missing the brilliant people that are Bajans!

Will write up TRs soon, but here’s a couple of tasters…

Outbound – VS35/Y – very good, one particularly great CC (Hi M…), her view of the new Y meal service and a few other observations!

Inbound VS30/W – not really worth the extra money, dis-interested CC who had never heard of the extra mile, plus another passenger’s woes…an maybe some other thoughts!

Hope all are well here, and will now catch up on recent threads!!!

Take care all,

Welcome back, I loved Turtle Beach when we stayed there a few years bach (and having the England cricket team there was a nice bonus).

Ah the notorious inbound "cant be arsed attitude" strikes again
