Guest Clubhouse Access

Hi everyone!

I just used miles to upgrade to an upper class ticket for a flight out of London. I will be traveling with my parents. Both of them will be on the same flight, but in Premium Economy.

I know my ticket entitles me and a guest access to the Clubhouse in LHR. Is there any way to get both of my parents into the club with me? Neither one wants to wait alone and I feel bad going into the Clubhouse without them. I really do want to experience the Clubhouse though.

If anyone has any ideas, I would certainly appreciate it!

Thank you! :)

Welcome to V-Flyer

You can buy addition access on the day, but it's space-dependant so if the CH is busy, you may not be able to.

If you post the details of your flight in the Itinerary Calendar then some kind V-Flyer who is travelling around the same time might be in a position to guest one of your parents into the Clubhouse for you

Welcome.

Have you considered divorcing your parents?

Seriously though did your parents book direct with VS or with Virgin Holidays? If the latter then VH do sell passes to the CH - you would only need one though!

VS do strictly monitor access and the staff are immune to all the tricks in the book of trying to break the rules (and that includes brining in one guest taking them out and trying to bring in a 2nd one)

If you all want to stay together there have been some good reviews of the Number One lounge in T3.

Thanks, everyone. Looks like all I can do is wait until the day of and then try to pay for access. I'll also try posting to the itinerary calendar as suggested.

It's my first time in UC so I want to make the most of it - and that includes the clubhouse.

Thanks again everyone!

Are your parents on a miles redemption ticket? If so you could try to put them in Upper too for 12,500 miles each, if not, then it's on the day or a kind V-Flyer's invitation.

The only other option I can think of is if you know someone with a FlyingCo account, who can buy Clubhouse access with FCo miles to add to the guest you can take in.
