Anyone successfuly bid for an upgrade yet ?

Hi there

Just wondering whether anyone has managed to successfully bid for an upgrade yet using this new feature in manage bookings.
We are flying to MCO next month and I have put a bid in, it's a bit cheeky :P but hoping and praying I will be successful as we don't have enough miles at the moment to upgrade our reward seats in EC.

When are you flying? I would love to have a go but don't seem to have the option on my upcoming flight next month :(

Hi where do you find the bid for upgrades function live?? Got flights to JFK booked but can't see the bid button to give it a go?

Cheers

Thanks for quick help! I'm on VS45 but no sign of upgrade function. Only option is the usual upgrade for cash function.

Looks like I am lucky then and on the right flights and right dates. Wow that kind of thing never happens to me :)

We are off to MCO on 17/2, returning 4/3 on VS15/16.
Current bid is £100 pp per leg so £600 in total for 3 of us. Not hopeful but as the flight is quite empty I am hoping they will be grateful for any extra revenue ):

Have everything crossed/

Is that upgrade to PE or upgrade to Upper?

It's an upgrade into the next cabin of service so Y to PE and PE to UC. So not possible under this to go from Y to UC

Yeah, but I was wanting to know if lovestoholiday was doing to PE or Upper. I think I can guess its to PE... Though the concept of a 200 quid Upper upgrade makes me very happy...

My understanding it is only for Y to PE. It is not available from PE to UPPER.

I put in a bid for our flight to New York in April - now await to see what if anything happens, each time I check out our booking it ask's me if I want to up my bid - will report back if I'm successful - don't hold your breath :)

It's EC to PE for us.
Not travelled in EC for a while but on this holiday we blew the budget on a stay on the Gulf Coast so couldn't stretch to PE xx(
Good luck other bidders, I wish it would give you some indication of your chances. Would happily up my bid a bit if I was sure I would win :)

This worked out for me - travelling on VS16 tomorrow, bid £210 pp and upgraded the T that I booked with miles to Ks! Upgraded seats and mileage earning too... Shame doesn't look like VROM though...!
