Tonight's episode of Coronation Street had a scene filmed in VS UC. At the bar.

And they even got the config right for a MAN flight.

Also, it was a classic episode, love Becky and (soap hat on) also that Tracey got her comeuppance!

Go Becky - one of Corrie's best ever characters, shame she has left, although a fitting exit for her.

Mind you, they got the flight times a bit wrong. The wedding was at 1pm and the MAN-BGI flight leaves at 1:30pm :o) Still we'll allow poetic licence for such a great character. She will be missed.

I screamed, "Noooooooo! It's Upper Class"

I can just hear the collective voices of V-Flyers all screaming the same thing all around the country and beyond!

This comment caused a ferw chuckles chez Treelo too. Not as much as hearing the CC addressed as 'waitress', as in 'waitress, just lob us t'bottle luv!'

Classic Becky ^)

I too found myself correcting the "It's first class" comment and chuckled she called the cabin crew waitress. Classic.

liked it when she said "just leave the bottle", wonder if I can try that on my next UC flight :-)

I also had to smile that the cabin crew was wearing her jacket on the plane. It's usually on landing that you see that not mid-flight. Well I suppose they had to make sure we all guessed it was Virgin Atlantic

Artistic Licence?

Maybe the Granada people wanted the FA in the jacket?

I noticed a few minor criticisms over so called 'inaccuracies' in the FB thread. Shows some people dont fly often enough to pick up changes.
