Hi, Im flying to NY on flight VS045 on 22 May 12 at 14:00 in Upperclass. My friend may want to come with us but after looking on the Virgin booking site my flight is not even listed for Upperclass passengers even though there are plenty of seats left in that class. But if I look at the economy seats that particular flight comes up as being available for 14:00. why is this?, seems they dont want to sell Upperclass seats for this flight for some reason.

According to expertflyer, there is only 1 seat left in Upper. A full price, non restricted ticket that will be Very Expensive.

Thats maybe why its not showing

Hi Dave. I Understand what your saying but when I go into my booking on the main site and look at my seat reservations it shows plenty of empty seats that are available, in fact it shows theres only 7 UC seats that have been booked, maybe the seat allocation has just not been updated.

Ah, theres a difference between seats sold, and seats booked or "reserved"

As David has said, just because people haven't pre-reserved their seat doesn't mean those seats haven't been sold.

Many pax won't bother with reserving seats and will just do it at OLCI stage or even at the airport.

Thanks David and Neil, that makes sense.
