I've not previously been in the JFK clubhouse so haven't got much to compare it with, but its post Departures and open.

5th of March seems to be the opening party, with the likes of SRB, but it is actually open now...

I'm taking pictures.

Looking forward to seeing the pictures Smid - the original JFK one was a nice space, if they've improved it then great! :-)

Just had a very nice trim at the spa, which I've been told is a new thing... Nice chat with the nice lady and there's supposed to be a performer at the opening party, but who that is isn't known to her. They seem much keener to serve than the LGW clubhouse, I didn't try any at the LHR spa, but the other half had nails done...

Ok, not sure what the term is, basically haircuts, hand treatments etc like the cowshead in LHR and LGW.

Ok, working within the bounds of the website, I've resized some pictures and will add the max of 10.

I tried to get pictures without flyers in them, which means now I realise I didn't photograph the bar because it wasn't ever empty, and I got someone in one of them...

Thanks for the photos. Some people like to have surprises but I like to have a preview so I can then look forward to it. If that makes sense ! :?

What a swell party it was. Here are some more pictures from the opening party at JFK last night. VS put on a great bash, sending a car to pick me up from my hotel, through to a group of us ending up at Don't Tell Mama's past midnight!

Big badges to gain entry:

As with all clubhouses it looks lovely at night:

I missed Katie Tunstall singing (was hobnobbing with Joan and Richard ii) , oh here's Richard and myself:

I had several great conversations with some of the VS team responsible for catering, clubhouses, and frequent fliers, they all said the new UCS looks fantastic but wouldn't give me any detail.

The corridor to the loos and showers changes colour, which was cool:

I didn't try the spa but it also looked really good, and overall a much larger and bright space.

Looks very nice! Just need to get a trip in place to go through there.

Wish the daylight VS26 would be reintroduced.

Wow, it looks terrific! I loved the old one, but this does look good. Particularly liked the streetplans in the loos!
