What are the best Upper Class seats for a honeymoon couple?

Which route are you flying ? (this will give us an idea of what type of plane you might be on)

If it is a 747 config 4' then row 12. These are right in the nose and are close together and private.
Over to others if it's an airbus.

It'll be an Airbus 340-600 on the 31st so i'd suggest 1K and 2K. Again, secluded and its much quieter up the front. Plus theres no-one sat opposite you!

the lower K numbers (1-7) and the higher A numbers (8+) all face the wall so give you more privacy - no one looking into your suite.

We liked 10&11a on the airbus

How about if people want to be opposite?

Sinx. Firstly congratulations on your pending big day. We are on the same flight for the same reason in September. On our honeymoon onto cape town. I booked 8k and 8g as this is far away from the bar to sleep but not in a quiet area so we can still sit and talk. These are the first seats after the 'wall' so we will be facing opposite each other and not seperated by the wall. That was my thinking anyhow.

I am now very interested in this thread. My plane for Miami has changed over night from a 744 to a 346.
Why do people seem to prefer the K side rather than the A side?

I assume you mean 2k and 3k?
Is 2k not too close to the toilet.

I suppose the toilet could be considered to be '1K'... perfect if as suggested by others, a certain level of privacy is desired ):

We've always sat one in front of the other.

We've been UC twice before. On the A340-600 we went for 9A/10A, on a 747 we went for 20A/D. We preferred sitting opposite each other on the 747, so have gone for 2A/3D on the A340-600 which is set to take us to LA in August. Hope this works out nicely

I think that sitting side-by-side means quite a gap so talking is difficult.

In the A vs K sides - it is mentioned above that K suites face into the wall. So do A suites face out into the aisle?

The wall referred to is the wall created by the back of the suites down the centre of the A340 series of aircraft. Both the A and K seats throughout the aircraft face the aisle. There is also a line of suites down the centre of the aircraft which has a 1-1-1 configuration. In the A346 in rows 1-7 these centre seats are D seats and face the A seats. The back of the suites thus forms the wall opposite the K seats, Rows 7-17 are G seats and face the K seats and thus the back of them forms the wall for the A seats. If you look at the seat maps in the Toolbox you will see what I mean

Haha so did I, the same seats from 8g &8k. I'm sure they'll be great seats.
