Gatwick Clubhouse for Breakfast or Hilton

Hi All,

I'm flying in September out to MCO from LGW and upgraded to UC; it will be our first UC flight and in fact our first flight of a similar class on any airline.

We usually did economy, then tried PE and now trying UC :0

So back to my question ?|

I LOVE the breakfast at the Gatwick Hilton but want to spend time relaxing in the clubhouse.... should I wait until I get to the clubhouse for breakfast? Is it plentiful and good quality?

For us, usually both.

THe Hilton breakfast is always great and then onwards to the clubhouse for more :)

(as a disclaimer, there's usually 2 or 3 hours between each meal :P )

Enjoy

Ha! Love it!

In terms of what you get at each... are they comparable? Can i get poached eggs at the clubhouse for example?

Hiltons are quite good in general but i found the lgw for breakfast is poor with not much choice and what there is isnt that good, however i really like the hotel so we eat in the ch instead.

cheers

I would go for the clubhouse although have found the Hilton to be satisfactory!

I'm sure you will enjoy the whole UC experience.

I would always opt for breakfast in the Cclubhouse as this ensures you get there early enough to book a treatment ;)

If this is your first time in UC then I would recommend making the most of the whole experience. The staff at the Gatwick Clubhouse will look after you from the moment you walk in and once in you can always take a brak and walk around the Terminal to see what you are missing ): Enjoy

Thanks All. I didn't think the clubhouse was 'that' good. I'm not sure if breakfast is included in the hotel rate so that may make the choice much easier!!

We have the later 1pm MCO flight as there isn't an earlier flight that day. If you have any other UC tips for a UC Virgin please speak up :)

The Gatwick Clubhouse breakfast offering, whilst not to the excellent standard offered at Heathrow, is nevertheless very good, in my opinion. Unless you have a "free" breakfast at the hotel, I see little or no reason to go elsewhere.
