As part of the Gatwick 747 refit, it's expected to be announced this morning that VS is taking a revolutionary new step in in flight entertainment.

The initiative is thought to involve the installation of a see-through roof on the upper deck of its 747's. On night flights VS will be training a member of cabin crew in astronomy, and passengers will be able to book half hour slots during the flight to look at the starts and planets from a whole new perspective.

Children will be actively encouraged to visit the upper deck to partake in these highly interactive sessions.

Keep an eye out for the official press release shortly.

As part of this initiative, the so-called 'Bubble' will be renamed as the 'Hubble'. :)
