Hi,

Just looking on 'FlightRadar24' and noticed a Virgin Atlantic registered A333 as 'G-VRAY' not sure if this is anything to go on but could this be the next A330 for Virgin?.. It was flying over Germany as 'VIR813P' :)

This is indeed the next A333 for VS (and the first LHR 3 cabin config A333 with the brand new Upper Class).

She goes into service around the 21st April on the VS3 to JFK.

Is the plan that she will operate the VS3/4 rotation every day until the next one arrives?

3 weeks until the first flight and still no info on the new UC!! This is what I don't get about Virgin sometimes they baffle me with "fullcock and no substance" or "nocock and substance"!!!!

Perhaps because it won't be rolled out for years, they're for once keeping a sensible low profile ...

Could be totally wrong here but just sitting in the lounge at LGW and saw a A333 being towed around the VS maintenance area. The red paint was definitely a darker shade than both G-VSXY and G-VKSS. Shame I'm too far away to get any info. Might get a closer look later as 08R seems to be in use at the moment...

Could very well be G-VRAY.

According to the flight status, G-VSXY is in GLA for VS071 and G-VKSS is in MAN for VS075 today.

It was G-VRAY. Got a good pic too - looked like a load of people boarding as we taxied past.

I'll upload the pic when I get back - looks good!

According to Airfleets G-VINE was the A330-300 that went to work for Ryan International (no relation). So its flying around somewhere!
