Hi All
Flying UC on VS23 on 2/5.. first time. Cabin looks pretty empty and we've gone for 8G and 8K... if you were me would you stick with these or go for something else?
Flying back on VS44 in PE on 15/5 how do I get row 75, is there a secret or may I be on a refitted plane??
Cheers all!
Nick

On the 346 I'd personally go for seats next to each other facing a divider. That way your not fighting over bin space. For example 8A and 9A aren't too bad.

Like Pete, I would also go for 2 seats that are 'on the same side'. On the A346 my choice would be 10/11A or 2-5K, you will find it much easier to communicate with your travel companion over the divider rather than over the aisle, especially as the seats are slightly out of sync and don't match up right opposite each other.
For your return, the only way to get row 75 is at airport check in, this is an exit row and is not available for allocation prior to the airport.
It is very unlikely you will get a refurbished a/c for your return, the first a/c is only due back in to operation mid/late May so you would be very lucky.

I'm with 2-5K (more specifically 3-4K) or 10 and 11A also.
On one of my flights when I boarded there was a lady sitting in my seat. She was supposed to be in the one opposite her husband but when she found they weren't opposite each other she decided to decamp in mine. While I wasn't prepared to give up my window seat, the situation was resolved by the seat in front of mine being empty so I agreed to go there

Did she think she was on Ryanair, pick a seat, any seat?

I like 16A or K as you are close to the door and can get off quickly (door 2 is always used, door 1 not that often in my experience). Watch out for seat 17 as it is next to the toilet and can be noisy (I refer to that flushing vacuum sound it makes of course !!)

4K & 5K
I got stuck in 6K this coming Sunday April 15 on VS8 LAX-LHR as they changed the aircraft from a 747 to an A346. Not really "stuck" but I've become accustomed to 4K

I don't mind 17K at all, like the privacy and only one neighbour! Today on a 747 to LAX we're in 18K and 19K, my faves of all!

Slinky09,
Did you purchase the luggage tags from V-Flyer? They look really fun.
