Hello from the LHR Clubhouse

Yes, my turn to do one of these. Been a while for me, since moving house last year pushed any travel plans to the bottom of the to-do list.
My first time using the DTCI at Heathrow. Only ever used the one at Gatwick before, and the Heathrow one when it was still part of the T3 car park. Quite a buzz to drive into that expansive private area and be welcomed by the uniformed staff who know exactly who you are before you step out of the car.
Whizzed through security and into the Clubhouse. Treatments booked at the Cowshed and a very delicious Colcannon Croquette veggie breakfast already consumed. Staff in the Clubhouse are particularly good this morning. Everyone seems to be smiling and ultra-attentive. Not that I've had many bad experiences in here, but this seems better than normal. Like!
Anyway... best get myself off to the Cowshed for my trim!

Good point. No, not that I can see. I might ask though.

Following in your footsteps Pete, a very efficient passage to and through LHR today, the clubhouse is quiet, lovely staff, pedicure booked earlier in the week so that's soon and all on time for Tinkerbelle (I think). Now to Palm Springs and the Coachelle festival!

Good to know, on way from central London now heading for the VS9, and hoping to get an extra guest in so being quiet is good news!
Have a good flight

Hey Pete,
You didn't mention what car service/taxi you used at the DTCI?
I leave LAX tomorrow on VS8 and will be through DTCI again on April 27th, using London Heathrow Cars again, but this time for 4 PAX.

It was London Heathrow Cars - on your recommendation, if I remember correctly. Very good service, even if the 1km journey for £16 was a little pricey, worth it to use the DTCI at least once

Pete,
Glad it worked out for you! Did they find the entrance to DTCI straight away, or did they loop around 10 times like my driver did?

Even though it was the driver's first time using it, he'd clearly been briefed and knew which turning it was. That entrance even confused me a little since it seems to split three ways - but no problem for my driver.
