Thought I would share details of what I think is an excellent deal with you.

Recently booked return PE flight to JFK at a cost of £725 and then managed to upgrade to UC on the outbound flight with 10k company flying co miles. I have just received a call from the Virgin Premier team telling me that if I am prepared to change my return flight from JFK to Newark they have an UC seat for me in exchange for 10k company miles & a £125 change fee.

Return UC to New York for £850 + 20k miles feels like a fantastic deal.

And just to top things off I have been able to get seat 16k in the nose of the 747 on both legs.

so they wanted you to change AND charged you for the priviledge ?? i would have tried to hold out for at least no fee....

My thought exactly.

They didnt want me to change, just offered me the option, I could have stayed in my PE seat. Guess I was overe keen to take the UC option, still a very good deal in IMHO
