Good Day Vflyers,

Just posing a question i am flying On Thursday to Las Vegas in Upper and i am aware the shared lounge is the Escape Lounge. Has anyone any thoughts on the breakfast as I have seen from the website its very limited :? :? .

Any thoughts or recommendations for a full english in the terminal 2 :? ???

Thanks in advance

Escape lounge breakfast is limited, cereals, (usually cold) toast, crossiants, I struggle to remember much more, I was onto the sauce quite quickly after that...

Theres a Real Food Company and Frankie and Bennys, never been in either, but I assume they'd do some form of full english...

No many options in terminal 2. When we went to the escape lounge in December they did bacon butties, but you had to ask for them

If you are wanting a full English, I think the only option is the cafe downstairs, there is a bar, but not sure if they serve food

We had a pretty good breakfast at the Real Food Company earlier this year. The man serving even gave me the crispy bacon.

Look for Frankie & Benny's on the Manchester Airport website. They have a breakfast menu on there.

Going back, its largely no different from a LAS to LGW trip, I've done both (though the to LGW was PE). The lounge in Vegas is much of a muchness, the usual shared lounge, bit of nibbles, free drinks (with the slight difference of oversea lounges of having a few corners with a big TV on the go, this surprised me in the JFK clubhouse that they had a big telly which wasn't capable of having the sound turned up). There are barely anything past departures apart from that, fruit machines, small bar, I think a burger king, small duty free. Large horde of milling creatures. The lounge is right by the gates.

However.

According to the wiki, the new Terminal (Terminal 3) at McCarran opens 27th June 2012, and says thats where the international flights will be going from, so you might be first with a TR from that new terminal.

What I can tell is the duty free will be much larger, much more restaurants including one called Dewars Clubhouse, which might a be a future source of confusion because it is not a Virgin Clubhouse (unless they make them look like normal restaurants).

Lounges? Well, looks like a BA Business/First (so its got space) (can anyway say whether there was a BA one here before, I didn't think so, but they are often just a door somewhere I miss?), but thats all I can find specifically on the subject. They are however knocking down Terminal 2, so I assume the Priority Pass lounge will make its way across, it seems unlikely to not have one across there since there's been one in the smaller terminal for so long...
