So we are into May, the month which was stated that we would see the 1st refurbed plane back to the fleet at LGW/MAN.
Anybody have any info on when we are likely to see the 1st plane back refurbed and ready for service? Flying out to Vegas next friday and keeping my fingers, toes and eyes crossed!

It will be mid/late May, some date around the 20th if I remember correctly, so I wouldn't hold your breath for next week.

According to the Aeromobile link on the VS website, G-VROM makes her maiden flight on 18th May.

TOP has already gone to FRA. Does this mean she is being stripped out or repainted now prior to moving to HKG in mid May as no 2 through the process??

That would give VS a couple of weeks to test her and train the staff on the new layout etc before her 'new maiden' voyage on the 18th

It isn't Virginia Plane (G-VTOP) going in new for refit as this one is being retired from the fleet at the end of the year. The next one going in is (Ladybird) G-VAST.
