Am I reading the schedule correctly for vs027? It would suggest this flight didn't go on Sunday, yesterday and today (9/5/12) even though it's on for each day

yes it lolok like it didn't run

a likely planned cancellation do to light loads on both legs so pax will have been moved to the other MCO flight.

Does cancelling flights happen often then? We are on vs027 3 weeks today. How much notice do you get if they decide to cancel?

So the vs027 and vs015 flights would only make up one plane load then? Or will some people get bumped to tomorrow?

How often do vs flights?
How empty does a flight have to be before it I cancelled?
I am on the vs5 on 6 th July and it looks light. Should I be worried?

We are on vs27 at the end of May. I would have hoped by now that VA would have been in contact if there was a likely change given that we have organised car hire, time off work etc to make trip for 8 people.

Also, with all the question marks still out there over the plane being used and lack of ability to reserve seats now, it would be good to hear from VA. please remove the questions.... ?|

Just because the load is light for your flight it doesn't necessarily mean that the flight will be cancelled. A lot will depend on loads for the return flight. For example at the end of the school holidays you could find that the load is light for the outbound but full for the return as the kids are returning for school

They will give a minimum of two weeks (otherwise they have to pay compensation under the EU regs) but they will try and give a lot more notice than that - they are aware that they are mucking up peoples plans.

It IS possible that some people may get bumped but VS will have contacted pax on the cancelled flight beforehand to offer alternatives and ask for volunteers. They don't just deal with it when people get to the airport.

Isn't that 1/2 term week then the jubilee weekend? so likely a very popular time so a planned cancallation is unlikely.

Hi. Thanks for comments. Yes - it is half term etc so I would agree very unlikely that we get bumped. My bigger issue to be honest is not being able to book seats....but I am not the first to say that!
