The ratings rarely lie....so yes, a good choice. Don't forget to do OLCI.

Enjoy your trip and don't forget the TR.... :D

79C is a good seat, obvious benefits are that you can recline without feeling guilty and you are first off the top deck. You also have a tray table to the side of the seat, which comes in useful. Enjoy Vegas, this will be the first year I haven't been in five and I am missing it already!!

Thanks 747rich! This is my 3rd time since 2010, think i've grown a small addiction to the place! Had to go back this weekend as my fav band ever Snow Patrol are playing @ the Cosmopolitan!

The seat map has now blanked itself back out, has saved my selection of 79C so fingers crossed when OLCI opens it saves my request!

Let us know whether is does save your request.

I have 5 weeks and counting til Vegas, so would like to know how predictable the systems are at the moment.

Was the front section "greyed out" when you did MMB? It often is as it is "reserved for VH passengers" ex LGW. If it was, it will be interesting to know whether it frees up at OLCI. The last time we flew PE ex LGW we only had the choice of the rear of the bubble in MMB and selected accordingly; when I did OLCI I found we'd been reassigned forward to the front of the cabin and the seats I'd wanted in the first place...

When I returned from MCO in PE last month, the whole of upstairs was open to selection.

Iant01 - I know what you mean about the addiction, something about the place - never fails to impress. Enjoy..

Well OLCI was completed at 11.28am!

SEQ4 (for the SEQ geeks out there) ;)

Update ref seat maps!!

In my previous post this morning I checked MMB 3 hours prior to OLCI opening and the seat map was open, There was only a block of 4 greyed out on the downstairs PE cabin and the obvious exit row seats upstairs. so it let me select 79C in the bubble.

When I did OLCI entered in all the info required, went through to select a seat page but came up with a message saying there were no seats available to choose as they had all been allocated, luckily enough it had saved my selection of 79C in the bubble, hopefully I can confirm this actually happened in my TR once I know my bum is on that seat when we are hurtling down the runway tomorrow morning!

So I think if your flying PE the trick is to grab your MMB on the morning of your flight and hope the seat maps are open, select your seat you want and keep your fingers crossed! y)

Sorry... morning BEFORE the flight (3 hours or so) before OLCI opens up!
