Very excited about first flight - SFO-LHR 6/29 with family flight 41 (I think!). Seats got switched around due to plane change but hopeful we'll still be able to sit together. Hubby and I are right next to WC so not too happy about that! We love Virgin America so despite hearing mixed reviews my family is very much looking forward to the experience (even if in econ!). Thank you for all the great information on this website!

Hi and welcome to V-Flyer.

Your flight SFO-LHR will be VS42 (Odd numbers westbound from the UK, even numbers eastbound) Have you gone into the My Booking/My Future Flights page on the VS website? If you enter the 6 alpha-numeric PNR you will be able to see your booking and possibly change your seats. However only 60% are released for pre-requesting and if you look at the seat map a couple of hours before on-line check-in opens then some more may be released. In any case all except exit rows and bulkheads are released then. If all else fails I have found that asking at the airport can often help.

Whatever happens enjoy the flight.

Thanks very much. I flip-flopped my flight numbers. Returning on 41 on 7/13. Yes I checked the website and called and was told to keep checking. The agent was very nice and said they'd make sure we were together. I had a horrible experience on a Delta flight next to the WC on a regional jet so that memory is fresh in my mind and 10 hours there would be a nightmare! I'm hoping to be able to do OLCI and switch. Thanks again.
