SFO check-in

Not flown out of SFO before, could someone tell me what time check-in and the CH opens for the 16:30 VS20?

4 hours before so 12:30 for both
Though the VS SFO page says"Check in opens at 15.50 on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday, and at 15.00 on other days!

Although I have known it be closer to 1 if the previous occupants (Air Asia) are running behind.

Don't forget that CH is before you go through security.
