Is it possible to find out prior to departure what aircraft you will be on?
I am on the VS63 LGW - Havana Cuba on 31 May 2012

Thanks Toy

I think the received wisdom is that the only point at which you'll know is when looking out of the window at the gate. Someone in VS will know, but I don't think they are keen on giving the information out.

The only other way you'd know is if the configuration of the seat map shows something unusual - e.g. the new bubble layout on an LGW aircraft.

Have a good flight and enjoy Cuba. Havana is a rare place to find in today's standardised world.

Another tip to what pjh has already said, is tomorrow morning, have a look at the status update page in the toolbox section above. This will be the first place anywhere that will publish which a/c you will be flying on.

It is never announced far in advance mainly due to security reasons.
