Hi

Just wondered if virgin are doing anything over the weekend to celebrate the Jubilee? I fly out to IAD on Tuesday. I know when it was the Royal wedding they gave out wedding cake, wondered if I might get a similar treat~ Jam tart maybe I am easily pleased!!

If I spot any tarts I will let you know !

Per Facebook nothing - I'll be on the VS19 on Monday though!

Well I hope anyone travelling through LHR tomorrow will have better luck than we did on the Saturday of the Golden Jubilee weekend. Because of a strike on Aer Lingus we had to travel to LHR via MAN on a combination of BA and BD to connect with our VS flight. BA refused to check our bags through to EWR even though our original booking was on the same PNR. We arrived in T3 at just after 12:30 to the longest PE line you ever saw and it took us till after 2:15 to get through. At 4pm, the scheduled departure time there were still 120 people to be checked in and at 4:30pm there were still 40 to go. LHR was a zoo that day! :0

Nope - SF at the moment, flying back next week. The week after I'm in PVG via HKG
