Greetings, first experience in the new JFK Clubhouse and I have gotta say I miss the old one. It was simple and with a good service staff was just what was needed before a night flight. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for any clubhouse access before a flight, but the one at JFK was one of the first i frequented, nostalgic moment perhaps :# . Anyone else?

Have a great flight
JFK does seem to go through Clubhouses at a rapid rate. This one is the third that I'm aware off. Though to be far, VS did change terminals several years ago, hence the reason for the last new Clubhouse.
Liked the old old one but never liked the last one at all. Although with the last one been landslide, it was convieniant for nipping outside for nicotine breaks :w

Agree about the landside benefits but I wasn't a great fan of the last clubhouse, the noise, the openness etc. The new one is heaps better IMO.

Cheers James, wasn't bad.. Just a little delayed. Flight crew were awesome and new upper class seats are really comfy. ][|) TRs to follow..
Ah the openness and noise, good for people watching though whilst sipping free alcohol - I like the CH in Hong Kong, their balcony is excellent for watching the world go by.
Wasn't in there long unfortunately due to massive delays coming from the city, had fun on that red sofa though, slid off it once or twice but a good centre piece.

Agree 100% with your assessment of the new Clubhouse. I preferred the old one too.
We are in the minority though!

I could not agree more y)
The noise of those blessed rollers on the scanner opposite used to drive me round the bend - and let's not mention the birds flying around :w
