A Day in Miami

Hi,
I am flying into Miami on the 05 in early July. We are spending the night and plan to spend the Saturday up to mid afternoon in Miami before heading to our house in Bradenton.

Can anyone advise on the best way to spend most of a day in Miami? Thinking of a bus tour and then a boat tour.

Recommend the boat tour around the harbour area which includes the area with all the celebrity homes.Follow this with lunch at Bubba Gumps !

I personally would just head to the South Beach area (which is easily seen on foot). Great architecture, great cafes/ restaurants and great people watching. The Lincoln Rd Mall is worth a meander (lots of shops and eating places). If you want to see some of the sights by water what about a Duck Tour http://www.ducktourssouthbeach.com/. This way you won't have to get over to Bayside (but will see the same things on the water that you would on the boat tours) as it departs from the SB area (and is actually quite fun :) ) .
I love Miami and never tire of the place- it's just a shame that MIA is such a cess pit :(! :(! .
