Just a word of warning, im sure alot of you will be aware but for those who arn't...

There seems to be a growing trend on eBay where FC members are selling off their unwanted FC miles. All well and good but just to note that if you are buying miles this way then to transfer these miles to your account there is a charge from VS which is sometimes 'forgotten' to be mentioned on the eBay listing so it can turn out to be a decent deal to buy those much needed points but it can sting a little when you then go to transfer them to your account and find out you need to pay out more money direct to VS!

Of course if a seller is 'selling their account' then you are welcome to change the name and password on the account and use the miles this way, it only poses a problem when you wish to 'transfer' the miles into your current VS FC account. y)

And VS do monitor Ebay and if they can connect the ebay account with an FC account they can close it down and reclaim the miles.

Of course what they may be offering is to use their miles to book a reward on your behalf which you then pay them for. Again if VS feel this is suspicsious they will suspend your account.

I believe you can't change the name but you can book flights from the account under a different name.

If I am correct, VS request permission from the account holder to use the account
