Saw this is scheduled on the VS flight Status tool thingy.

No indication of which plane this is.

Who? Why? etc etc

[BTW even I know this is not the England football team returning home)

Hmm. I don't see it ?|

I can't see anything in the Flight Status tab which refers to current flights, nor in the Status updates. I see a MNL-MAN there as VS814 scheduled for June 28th but that is the only positioning one I see

Frankfurt is where the 744s go for routine maintenance checks. Flight number reflects this.

Seems strange that it is listed as a 'proper' flight in the VS flight status listing though

Would the 814 be VAST coming back from refit? Would she be painted at MAN?

Refits are being done in HKG not MNL so it won't be that.

That's what I thought and why I questioned VB, previously KLM had the maintenance contract for 747 but Lufthansa Technik got the contract some other activities such as Aeromobile.

Looks like plane finder tracking app has got its info wrong as i am watching the app g-vros looks well on it's way to Frankfurt, but for some reason the app is showing Amstredam, would that be for repairs or maybe something to do with the refurb programme.
