Spending Flying Club miles - Split class outbound and return

Hi all,
Very quick question before I call in and get told "No, it does state this on the website"!!

Trying to book an PE outbound and UC return using reward miles. I select the classes correctly, it should space, I click next. I then get an error every time "Cannot process your request"
I have also checked that each sector has availability each way and it does at the moment.
I am sure I can't be the first person to want to do this?

Ahh yes, come across this before. The VS online booking tool can't seem to cope with 2 classes of travel in the same booking. I am afraid that you are going to have to call flying club and get them to book it over the phone for you - hope they are not too busy this eve and you won't have to wait too long.

At least it is now showing that it cannot process the request, when I first bumped into this problem it would just change the class of travel to one or the other. Only noticed when the price shot up. :0

Can't you just book two one way reward flights?

Yep fully possible. Although that way the OP will miss the on-hold music supposed to elicit joy and happiness, however having the opposite effect as you wait and wait and wait... ][|) ][|)

This seems to have been fixed. Just tried it. Split class each way. Book comes back with correct classes (if available). Even books and not a redirect to that nasty "Sorry......" Screen :)
I'm in IT and often moan at other IT depts at getting it wrong. today a bow :)
