V-Flyer

Can anyone recommend a hotel near to miami airport for 1 night.No skanky places please,flying U/C on Sunday and i will not want to drive far,i am down to the keys next morning. 8D

i've stayed at the hyatt house (was summerfield suites) a couple of times & its decent enough. theres a whole row of them on the dolphin expressway which rings the airport to the south

I am staying in the Sofitel next week after advice on vflyer.
It has a free courtesy bus. Gets very good reviews. I booked on Expedia.

I have used the Miami Airport Hilton on Blue Lagoon Drive many times.Free shuttle etc. etc. Its very good. Check out Tripadvisor

We've used the InterContinental on a couple of occasions & found it to be very nice & quite convenient y)

The drive to the Keys is fab. We did it in 2007, which is the first time we stayed at the IC. Got a convertible from Hertz & cruised down to Key West for my cousins wedding 8D

I stayed in the Hilton Downtown Miami in Biscayne Blvd earlier in the month; only took about 20 minutes to get to from the airport and like you, we headed down to the Keys the following day. Was comfortable and good value as a HH points reward. Parking was expensive at IIRC $25 for overnight.

There is an on- site airport hotel which we stayed at a few years back but it's about location rather than style! However it works after a long haul flight and saves travelling to a hotel just for one night.
