Air Passenger Refund Claim

Hi,

I received numerous reminders today (post and email) about claiming back part of the fuel surcharges in 2004/5/6 for flights on BA and VS. I have 16 flights purchased in the window listed but have not yet claimed. I think I will submit a claim tomorrow.

Has anyone else done this (successfully or otherwise). Most of the flights are between London and TPA/MCO and a pair or return flights to DBX.

How much am I likely to get and how long does it take?

Thanks

I did this ages ago and got £46 (I think). It took about 6 months to come through, probably because the "class action" was still being sorted.

Go for it. Remember to send every bit of evidence; your initial booking, boarding passes etc.

Good luck

Paul

There was a long discussion about this a couple of years ago when it first came about. I made a claim in 2008 and got a couple of hundred pounds back, (I travelled a lot during that period). Many others posted about receiving various amounts.

I don't think you need to provide any evidence as such. I seem to recall name and flight dates was enough. Check your passport for stamps for the dates.

I have downloaded the spreadsheet.
All they arevasking for is passenger name, Flight number, boarding and destination city and for BA flights, passport number.

Think I will send it today.
