V-Flyer

Sorry for being so self indulgent but I have to share my good news with you. Me and Fozzyo have decided to upgrade to Upper Class on our return portion of our SFO - LHR flight.

So far initial impressions of the clubhouse and service is amazing, said hello to claire and already enjoying my first appletini. Trip reports and photos to inevitably follow!

I know people now do this every day, but as our first time i just have to shout it from the rooftops!

Was there for the first time only a few months ago - and can understand your excitement!

keep an eye out of the window, and you should see the incoming VS19 Land, and it will taxi right past, so you can see which B744 you've got!

We haven't even got on the plane yet (saw it going past when we got here - not sure which one) and I think I can definately say that we are totally buggered!! I've already said to Dean I think we have got to fly less often now so we can afford to do this everytime, I know one thing for certain ... I can't do Economy again. To NY if money required, but defo not SFO.

When we went to Ticketing we saw Millie (who denied us an upgrade last time we tried to go to PE a few years back). As soon as we had agreed to do UC she loved us! We lost count how many times she said Upper Class and The Clubhouse while sorting out the payment (ouch!) loud enough so everyone around us could hear. I loved her for that!!

Check in was good - even with my massive bulky massage chair that I bought over here. And then we walked up to see Claire ... she is so lovely. We also managed to grab a few extra Upper Class luggage tags too.

The bar is amazing, love it and the food fantastic! Just excited about the flight and of course Revivals too!! As Dean (Wolves27) said trip report and pictures will be coming. And we have a lot of pics!

Nice to see Claire is keeping up her tradition of looking after us v-flyers, well done Claire - don't forget the offer for your next visit to the UK.

Glad to see you guys are enjoying it so much, SFO is a great city and the SFO Clubhouse is a great Clubhouse, as you say, no turning right from now on

Just a quick note, sitting in Revivals at the moment.

The flight was fantastic - loved it, the Suite is the best and we had V-Port too. Full report later on when we get home and can't face the unpacking.
