hoping you guys out there can help me .

basically i have just over 100k miles and was doing a few dummy bookings and found for 80k miles during the PE reward seat sale i can get 2 PE seats to dubai next may during half term with £650 to pay for the usual dreaded taxes etc . sounds like a deal to me. But is it?
should i maybe buy a flexible fare and upgrade with miles.
which works out £700 each but less miles used :?
or should i just hold out for some better reward seat sales?
ive got virgin atlantic PE withdrawal symptons and must go soon

any suggestions much appreciated y)

The L to G route is fair the best value use for miles, but as ever VS putting more of the cost into Surcharge than base fare it still has a nasty sting.

as long as there is availability in G, plus @£170 in extra fuel/surcharges going from the L to G fare

If there is a sale on, it may be cheaper to book one 'full G' and purchase the other ticket with cash.
