Surprised nobody has posted this already.Tesco Clubcard conversions are mow earing a 50% bonus on VS and BA Avios . Both offers are running until 31st August.

Wow, thanks for pointing that one out. Time to clear out the drawer of old vouchers.

I'm assuming that as I'm already opted in for the auto conversion that we get the bonus on those too, not really clear from the T&Cs.

Typical, just converted some the other week to BA!

Me too converted a load of Tesco vouchers so I would have enough to grab some G's if they came available. Still have lots to convert so might do some more, anyone with auto opt gets 1,000 extra miles.

Does anyone know if its possible to convert my wife's Clubcard vouchers into flying Club miles in my account? I already auto-convert my Tesco points into Flying Club Miles.

Having read the offer of 50% extra points, I'm still not sure whether I will qualify for the extra points as my points are converted automatically. Any Views? Should I opt out of auto convert so that I receive vouchers again?

Possibly the best route would be to combine both your tesco accounts.. So they are treated as one account..You used to be able to do this, but that was years ago when we did it..

When i recently converted my Tesco vouchers it asked for my flying club account number, could you just put your FC account number in and they will probably put it into your account.(unless they have a system that barrs them doing this)
mayabe only the registered holder.

Mine went through the next day, I did it early as they said could take up to 28 days, if i had waited would have saved me 15,000 miles ouch v( linda

Thanks for the suggestions regarding my wife's Tesco points.
All to no avail I'm afraid - the other half has realised that the Belfast City flights to Heathrow are now operated by BA and is moving her allegiance to the dark side and AVIOS. Oh well, sometimes it is good not to to put all your eggs in one basket. :$

Thanks for posting DL, have cancelled my auto-tip just in case and will make a conversion with my stash of vouchers once the next statement comes through.

That was quick!!! Checked my account last night and the miles had already been added.

Slightly concerned, my Tesco points (auto opt-in) still havent converted. I also see that the 50% bonus has disappeared from the Clubcard website?? I thought it was to run until the end of August?

The offer is still available on the tesco clubcard virgin atlantic miles offer.If you go into the more info button its in the small print half way down, offer is deffinately on till end of August y)

I signed up for auto conversion last time, so the Clubcard site shows the number of flying club points awarded. This is showing at the normal conversion rate. Who is providing the bonus points? Is it Tesco or Virgin? Is the extra only being awarded for actual Voucher conversions?

BTW no points have shown up on my Flying club account yet. I feel a bit stupid for not reverting back to vouchers before the conversion date.

I don't spend that much in Tesco anyway, the boss always tells me we ahve to go to Sainsburys

Same problem here i.e. auto transfer and no 50% miles on statement. I chased this up with Tesco yesterday- this is their reply:


"Thank you for your e-mail.

Your bonus Virgin Flying Club miles will be added to your Virgin account
as a separate transaction with 28 days as this will come direct from
Virgin."

I called tesco earlier today and they told me that my clubcard points left my account yesterday and they should be with virgin by the 12th August. They also said that virgin will credit the 50% extra miles soon after.

Folks, my auto tip miles from Tesco have just appeared on the account. The 50% bonus has also appeared. Just in time to use my amex vouchers in the sale

yes, mine have just appeared as well, and the 50% bonus which I wasnt expecting, being already signed up for auto tippers

I am now 18k Avios better off in my BAEC account!

My Tesco clubcard ponts and the bonus points appeared today.
