V-Flyer

Ws hoping for an A340-600 for our Sunday return from LAX
but on line booking is coming up with a 747 for seat selection for our flight in 3 weeks time
i noticed that this weeks was flown by an A340 again first time for a while
do you think Virgin switch aircraft at last minute dependent on booking levels?

I think that they fly a346 on some days and a 744 on others. But i think it is always a 744 during the weekends in the summer season. I've just arrived from VS8 this Sunday and it was opperated by a 747 (g-vhot)? The CC said that all the LA flights have been full inbound and outbound this summer, and they usually are during the summer season.
