Help please - Chauffer Driven Car Service

We are on VS73/74 next April booked through VH. VS 73 is shown as I and 74 as Z. Does this mean we are entitled to use the Limo service from our home to the airport for the outward trip? If so how does it work? For the return flight do you think it would be worthwhile negotiating a price (and would they agree)with the Limo service for the airport - home journey. ?|
All contributions greatfully welcome
Jack

Neither I's nor Z's get a CDC, that should have been clear if you booked online (lowest fare without CDC is usually flagged).

As for CDC to LGW for the 73, any normal car service will suffice, it's not quite the glamour of drive through check in as at Heathrow. Nor do I think you'll find any deals if you call VS, they'll likely give you the Tristar number to call and they are often expensive compared to other services.

Hi J.S,

I do believe you would be entitled to the car service on your outbound flight complementary if you are booked in I class for that sector as you suggest.

You wouldn't be able to negotiate a price for your return though unfortunately however, the company they use in the UK is Tristar and there is a link somewhere on the VS website that can get you a qoute for the return journey (MAN-Home). You would probably have to give VS Upper Class line a ring to see what company they use in MCO in order to get a quote for the journey to the airport but I would say adding those extra 2 transfers yourself might be a tad costly over other alternatives.

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards.

Thanks mpb91, using Disney's ME to and from MCO to hotel (Grand Floridian) as this has always been a great service. Like you I understood I class offered CDC, at least according to VS website so not sure why Slinky says 'not available' However, if it is offered I'll take it and use Mike, our local taxi driver for the MAN to home journey.
