Hi,

Looking at flights to JFK in December. Both the VS003/VS004 and VS009/VS010 are showing as A340-300.

Does anyone know if theses are likely to be operated by the new A330-300 aircraft? Just wondering as the new A330 routes showed A343 in the past initially before changing in the system to A333.

I see the VS025/026 are A330-300 but the timings are not convenient on the return for me.

No just the vs 25 will be on the 330

The 330 will also operate del / bom / iAd / mco and man-las

I remain surprised that VS will be putting its least premium aircraft on such a premium route. I suppose you could say that at least the new 25/26 gets the 333, but that wouldn't console me much if I am on a 343 on the 3/4 or 9/10!

I am flying to JFK in December on the VS3/4 and have asked about this before as I wanted to try out the A330-300.

I have just done a dummy booking and for the dates I am travelling it is showing the A330-300 both ways but when I log into my booking it is showing the A340-300 both ways.

Having said that over the past few weeks whenever I log-in the plane type has changed to the A340-600 then to a 747 and then back to the A340-300 so as with most things with Virgin it appears to be wait and see what you get on the day.

Vs17/18 A346
Vs1/2 and 45/46 showing 747 for winter
