Hi,

I am staying in Las Vegas and flying home from San Francisco. Does anyone know if I can check my luggage in at LAS and get it automatically tranfered onto the SFO to LHR flight ?

Anyone had any experience of this?

I have phoned Virgin Atlantic and the operator said it is not possible but the Virgin America site says its possible ?

Thanks in Advance.

AL

You should be able to.

This was offered to me when I did the same route in February. I didn't take advantage as flying UC and wanted to be sure the bags were priority tagged.

Out of interest I couldn't do OLCI for the VX leg and when I checked n in LAS the very nice check in agent waived the bag fees (I was in ec on the LAS/SFO leg.

Funny - most of the time, "transfer" baggage comes out before the (claimed) "priority baggage" of Upper, anyway... ;)

I flew VX First Class SFO-LAX to connect with VS024 LAX-LHR in UC in March and was told they could not check my luggage through to LHR.
