When will the website upgrade ever be complete ?

I notice that BA's website upgrade that was started way after the ongoing VS upgrade has recently been completed to include a new booking process.

They also started with the front pages but have managed to complete their upgrade way before VS.

Their booking process, on first sight, looks to be very clear and easy to use.

What's happened at Virgin ? Is there only one guy on the team and he's on holiday ?

Edit : just found the first post from kyle@vs announcing the first partial refresh - 27th July 2011. :0 :0 :0

Surely they must be into lawsuit territory with the company they contracted to revamp the site by now?
It is another IT embarrassment for VS, but that probably isn't a new feeling for them ;-(

Agree, it's shoddy, unprofessional, and really it's a shambles.

I think the title of this thread should really be 'WILL the website upgrade ever be complete?'. :)

I must say, though, the new site, via the fragments of it so far released, looks great to me. I just wish they would hurry up a bit. I'm particularly looking forward to the new booking engine.
